Our Larger Context

Incarnation Holy Sacrament Church is a part of the body of Christ.  We are connected not only to those in the pew next to us, but to the church next door, and to all the faithful worldwide.

The Diocese of Pennsylvania has more than 22,000 members in 157 congregations throughout the five-county Philadelphia region.  We are the fifth largest diocese in The Episcopal Church, USA.

The Episcopal Church is made up of between two and three million worshipers in about 7500 congregations across the United States and a few related dioceses outside the US.  We are one of the 38 provinces of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

The numbers for the worldwide Anglican Communion are difficult to calculate.  Some estimates are as low as 76.6 million, while others believe 102.7 million is more accurate.
