Thanksgiving is an opportunity to give thanks for family, friends, the abundance God has given us in our lives, the gift of God's good creation, and all the blessings of this life.

Join us on Thanksgiving Eve at IHS to first give thanks to God before feasting on Thanksgiving Day. Our Thanksgiving worship is at 7:30pm followed by our own party next door at Deep Soil.

Luke's Gospel tells of three prayers in the birth story of Jesus: the Magnificat, the Song of Zechariah, and the Song of Simeon. These beautiful prayers, perhaps ancient Christian hymns, have been an important part of Christmas celebrations and worship ever since.

This year, join IHS and St. Mark's Clifton Heights as we prepare for Christmas with this Wednesday night Advent series. We'll have a potluck dinner at 6:15pm followed by worship and discussion of the prayers at 7pm.

Dates are December 4th, 11th, and 18th
